Erinn Lewis is one of Austin’s most celebrated Vinyasa Flow & Yin Yoga Teachers. She is a force of positive energy and her mission is to create transformative spaces for others to awaken to their own potential. She is loved for her innovative, vibrant, and inclusive style of teaching and her intuitive weaving of humanity and spirit into her public classes, workshops, retreats, and teacher trainings. She will invite you on an adventure back home into your own body, heart, and spirit.
Her personal practice and teachings are infused with her studies in Transpersonal Psychology, Chinese Medicine, Intuitive Eating, Ayurveda, trauma sensitive based mindfulness practices, 12-step recovery principles, Buddhism, yoga mythology, and a love of poetry and music.
Motherhood has humbled her, unfolded a vulnerability and a fire inside that she now shares with tenderness and humor. It has brought her closer to her own wisdom and truth, that if the practice of life (yoga) is not cracking you open… lean in, soften, breathe it all in, love it all out!
Erinn is grateful to her heart teachers Camilla Figueroa and Keith Kachtich of Dharma Yoga Austin. She is also inspired and humbled by the teachings of Pema Chodron and Sarah Powers.
Erinn is the creator of the 200 hour RYS, Poetry in Motion Vinyasa Teacher Training. She a faculty trainer for both Dharma Yoga Austin and Sundara Yoga Therapy teacher trainings, provides mentorship for Eastside Yoga Teacher Training and is collaborating with some of Austin’s most dynamic and respected teachers to offer Practice Yoga Austin’s 200 hour teacher training.
